Hummingbird!

I've had this yarn called "Hummingbird" (Malabrigo worsted) for quite some time. Before winter, at least. I had wanted a pretty, variegated yarn to make hats for the girls. Well, time got away from me, and I just never did it. I was never 100% sure that the yarn was supposed to be made into little girl hats, anyway.

Then I started thinking about a cool felted bag that my friend has. I have plenty of bags, to be sure. Probably too many. But I could see this yarn of mine being perfect for a felted bag. I've never made a felted bag. I tend to be the person who finds 1 or 2 things to make, and I make hundreds. Well, now that the longies and shorties hobby has come to an end, I think it's time to move on.

I'm so excited about this new stage in my knitting. I'll be sure to update with pics when I begin. The first step is to find some bigger needles. :)
