Aaron was reading out of The Beginner's Bible this morning. Serena was listening in. when he finished, Serena asked, "Does God like the Vikings?"
Now, we are Vikings fans in this house, but I'm not going to presume that God has a favorite football team. I'm sure my husband would say He does, and it's the Vikings. My father-in-law would say Packers!
Anyway, I told her that God loves all the football players. She gives me this look like I'm daft and says, "Mom, He's wearing Viking colors. I think that means he likes the Vikings best."

Oh, I love! If we could see life through the eyes of a little child!! Tell her Grandma loves her very much!
Here in Denver, the bumper stickers ask: If God isn't a Broncos fan, then why are sunsets Orange and Blue?
Of course, Denver is "Bronco country," so things get a little nuts... expect, say, when they aren't doing well. [smile]
